The cookie consent banner asks your website visitors whether they accept the measurement and advertising tools that place cookies in their browser. It helps you comply with privacy laws such as Quebec's Law 25 or the GDPR in Europe.
Enable the banner
- Go to Settings > Your organization.
- Open the Terms & Conditions tab.
- Check View consent by cookies.
- Click Save.
What visitors see
The banner appears at the bottom of the pages. Visitors can accept, refuse, or open the cookie settings to choose service by service: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Amplitude, Hotjar, Facebook and Sentry. None of these services is accepted by default. The choice is kept in the visitor's browser for one year.
The banner manages the tools you set up in your website's External tools tile. Tags you add yourself in Google Tag Manager follow the rules set in Tag Manager. See Respect visitor consent.
