Featured Events
Announce your upcoming events on a page of your website, with a link to registration.
Available with the Essentials plan and higher.
The Featured Events module displays a short list of your events, for example the next three on the home page. Clicking an event leads to its detail page or directly to registration, and a link can lead to the page of all your events.
The module points to a page that contains the Events Section module: create that page first.
Add the module to a page
Open the page, click a zone, select the Events feature, then the Featured Events module.
Configure the module
General
- Zone title: title displayed above the events.
- Campaign display mode: Classic (as a list) or Mosaic.
- Category and Keywords: limit the module to events in certain categories or with certain keywords.
- Number of events: maximum number of events displayed.
- Past, In progress and Coming soon: events displayed according to their dates. To announce your next events, check only Coming soon.
- Disregard dates of extension of events: the extension date keeps an event displayed after its end date. Check this option to remove the event as soon as it ends.
- Display order: Chronological (closest first) or Antichronological.
Call to action
- Page used to register for the event: page that contains your Events Section module. Then choose where clicking an event leads: Redirect to the registration page or Redirect to the detail page.
- Page used to see all events and Label link: add a link to the page of all your events, for example See all our events.
Click Save and close.
The module adapts each event's image to its location. A square image from 400 × 400 to 600 × 600 px, the same for all your events, gives a consistent display. See the recommended dimensions.
