How to limit the number of seats available in an event

When you are setting up your event, you can limit the number of seats for your events in three ways: 

- The overall number of seats for the event; 

This limit determines the maximum number of seats available. Once this number is reached, it will no longer be possible to register for the event.

To configure the global number of places for the event, you must go to your event, then click on the Settings tile. Go to the Process tab and then to the Management of available places section. 

Here, by checking "Limit the number of available spots", you will be able to indicate the number of available places. 

- The number of seats per rate; 

This limit allows you to determine a selection limit per rate.  For example, you could limit the number of seats by time slot or by face-to-face /vs webcast.

- Quantity available per option; 

This limit allows you to determine a selection limit for the options available in each rate.

To manage the options for an event, open the Rates/Options menu. Create a new option or modify an existing option.
