An active member of Yapla is one whose membership has been validated, either automatically or manually by the administrator. This means the member enjoys all the benefits of their membership, such as access to preferential rates, visibility in the directory, and access to member-only pages. It is useful to create a segment containing all your active members in Yapla Newsletters to automatically target currently involved members of your community in your newsletter campaigns.
Identifying Active Members in Yapla Newsletters
To identify active members in Yapla newsletters, go to the Newsletters > Contacts tab. In your contact list, all active Yapla members will automatically have the "active-members" tag under the Tags column.
Important: Contacts with the Active status in the Status column of the Newsletters feature are not necessarily active members of Yapla. This status only indicates their activity related to your newsletter campaigns. To learn more about contact statuses in Yapla Newsletters, refer to this article.
Creating a Segment to Group Yapla Active Members
Under the desired contact list, click Create a segment. On the left column, give your segment a title—ideally "Active-members". Under Conditions, select the option "Tags" on the first line, "Has" on the second, and "active-members" on the last.
Click Save and exit.
All your active members in Yapla will now be added to the Active Members segment, and newly activated members in Yapla will also be automatically added to this segment.
