How Zapier works

Zapier is a web service that automatically synchronizes data between different web applications, saving you time and money. It is no longer necessary to make a computer scientist work at a high price, just create a Zap. The Zapier service is simple to use and allows you to make your applications talk without advanced technical knowledge.

Yapla is available on the Zapier platform. We regularly add triggers. Here are some examples of what it can do:

• Synchronize your contacts with a mailing service such as Mailchimp.
• Synchronize event registrations with an LMS to offer online training.
• Synchronize your member base with a third party system.
• Synchronize donors to a CRM such as Salesforce.

You only need to open a Zapier account, make a Zap, connect the two applications, add tasks, test... and that's it. 

In its current version, Yapla does not allow you to update your data (import) via a Zap. Only data export is possible. 

What is a Zap? 

A Zap is an automated workflow that connects your applications and services together. Each Zap consists of a trigger and one or more actions. When you activate your Zap, it executes precise actions each time the trigger event occurs. For example, you can create a Zap between Yapla and the TalentSoft LMS. Each time you receive a registration for an event, your Zap calls TalentSoft to provide it with the data associated with the registration. It is possible to create several Zaps between Yapla and one or more other applications.

What is a Task? 

A task is an action that your Zap performs successfully. For example, if your Zap has an action to create a new listing in your LMS, each listing created will use a task. 

What is a trigger?

A trigger is an event that launches a Zap. For example, if you want to send an SMS every time you receive a registration, the trigger is "New Registration". 

Zapier Pricing

Zapier bills its customers based on the number of tasks performed in a month. A free version exists for users with low volumes. Different plans are offered according to your needs.  Learn more at https://zapier.com/pricing.
