Events Section

The Events Section module allows the display of one or more upcoming events with a detail page and registration forms.

GRAPHIC INTERFACE

Option Description
Show event infos Displays the information box describing the event throughout the registration process.
Display mode Controls how the event previews and content are displayed on your page. The display of information to be selected in Data Management is not applicable for left or right hand calendars: 
  • Left navigation: A left-hand menu with overviews of all events is present on your page. The details of each event will therefore be on the right.
  • Mosaic: An overview of all events will be present on your page. It will be possible to see the details of each event by clicking on "Details"
    • Choose the number of columns forming the mosaic
    • Choose the display mode of the event details page: the event summary can be displayed in the center, on the left or on the right of the page.
  • Calendar on left: A calendar with all the events will be present on the left side of your page. To view the details of an event, the user will have to select the event and the details will be displayed on the right of the calendar.
  • Right-hand navigation: A right-hand menu with overviews of all events is present on your page. The details of each event will therefore be on the left.
  • Calendar on the right: A calendar with all the events will be present on the right of your page. To view the details of the event, the user will have to select the event and the details will be displayed on the left side of the calendar.
  • Unique event: Display a single event. Select the event and the way the event detail page will be displayed: Summary of the event on the right, centre or left side of the page.

ELEMENTS ON DETAIL VIEW

Option Description
Show thumbnail of the event The thumbnail is an image that is associated with the event visible in the featured event module and in this module according to your preferences. This image is configurable in the event settings in the Events application.
Show the address of the event The address can be configured in the event settings in the Events application, under the "Location" tab. You can therefore choose to display the name of the location and its contact details on your website.
Show full address of the event The full address is configurable in the event settings in the Events application, under the "Location" tab. You can therefore choose to display the name of the location and its contact details on your website. Here the province and country are added to the location details.
Show contact information for the event The contact information can be configured in the event settings in the Events application.
Show short description of the event The short description can be configured in the event settings in the Events Application.
Show the speakers of the event The event speakers can be added in the "Organizer" tab in the event settings.
Show event time The time is configurable in the event settings in the Events Application. 
Show the number of places available After indicating the number of available places in the event configuration in the event functionality, you can enable this option in the Member Area module in the Website functionality to display the number of remaining places in real time. The number of available places will be calculated dynamically based on the number of registrations.
Show category name Display the category name The category of each event is chosen in the "Categorization" menu of the event. The different categories are configurable in the Events Application Settings.
Show Keywords The keywords associated with the events are selected in the "Categorization" menu of each event. The different keywords are configurable in the Events Application Settings.
Show participants list on event detail page The list of participants corresponds to the list of registrations which can be accessed in the event functionality, on the card of each event.

 

FILTER FUNCTIONS

Option Description
Filter events for a category Allows you to select which category the events displayed come from
Filter events by keywords The events displayed will only be those associated with the keywords.
Enable tag filter Adds an option at the beginning of the module area that allows you to search for an event with keywords. The keywords associated with an event are configurable in the Event Application.
Enable category filter Adds an option at the beginning of the module area that allows you to filter events by the categories you have created.
Enable dates filtering Adds an option at the beginning of the module area to filter events by their start and end dates.
Display order Choose whether the events will be displayed in chronological or reverse chronological order.
