How the Consent field works

The Consent field is displayed as a checkbox in your form.


When the option is checked, the administrator can see the date and time this box is checked, as well as the IP address from which the action was taken.

In addition, when synchronizing contacts in the Newsletter application, if the native newsletter subscription field is checked, the contacts will automatically be in Opt-in status.

To add a consent, in the Fields configuration of your application, choose the Consent option. In addition to the basic options, you can enable the option "Display consent details on website" which will display the date and IP address when the field is read-only. If the option is not enabled, the field will only display "Yes".
