Yapla offers dozens of automated messages, triggered by every change in status. Reminder emails and renewal requests as expiration dates approach come in handy for keeping your community up to date. By configuring messages to suit your needs, managing your processes has never been easier!
Here's the list of automatic emails offered in the Yapla platform and their triggers.
MEMBERS FEATURE
Members
Member creation |
Sent when a member is added to your member database, even if they are not a member. This communication is sent to administrators by default. |
Changing a member record in Yapla |
Sent when a member's profile information is modified. You can choose which modifications trigger a notification, using the Send the communication when a specific information on the member's profile is changed function. |
Passwords
Members' area login instructions | Mass mailing, sent to all members when the administrator of an association site creates a login for its users. |
Password reset | Sent when the member has forgotten his password. |
Password modification | Sent to confirm that the member's password has been updated. |
Memberships
Membership to be renewed | Several reminders can be sent before the membership expiration date. For example, you can create three different messages that will go out 30, 15 and 1 day before the membership expires. |
Membership to be renewed (after expiration) |
Several reminders can be sent out after the membership expiration date. For example, it is possible to create three different messages that will go out 1, 15 and 30 days after the membership expires. Note: the number of days in the recall must be equal to or greater than 1. |
Membership waiting to be paid |
Sent when a membership is Waiting for payment, e.g. when the member wishes to pay by cheque or bank transfer. Can be resent manually from the member's detailed profile sheet (accessible from the Current membership tile in the Members feature). |
Validated membership | Sent when a new membership is Validated. |
Renewed membership |
Sent when a renewed membership status changes to Validated. |
Resends the payment confirmation | Message that you can send manually, by clicking on Resend payment confirmation, in the member's membership details. |
Reminder - Membership awaiting payment | Sent automatically as a reminder to the member if his membership has not been paid after a certain number of days. You can determine the recurrence of this reminder. For example, you can send the reminder within 30, 60 or 90 days of membership. |

Continuing education document not validated | Sent when a continuous training document is rejected. |
Validated continuing education document | Sent when a continuous training document is accepted. |
Validated training | Sent when a training is validated. |
Communication of the status of continuous training | Reminder message. Can be sent several times before the expiration of the continuous training period. For example, three different reminders can be created, starting 30, 15 and 1 day before the period expires. |

Validated registration confirmation to the responsible | Sent to the registration manager when a registration is validated for a paid event. |
Validated registration confirmation to participant(s) | Sent to all participants (including the manager, if participating) when a registration is validated. |
Registration pending payment confirmation to the responsible | Sent when an event registration is Pending payment. |
Free event registration confirmation to the responsible | Sent to the manager when a registration for a free event is validated. |
Participant(s) reminder | Reminder to registered event participants. The communication settings allow you to determine how many days before the event the communication should be sent. |
Reminder to participant(s) in waiting payment | Reminder to participants whose registration is Pending payment. The communication settings allow you to determine how many days after registration the communication should be sent. |
Registration cancellation | Sent when an event registration is cancelled. |

Personalized message on request, either to the list of registrants for an event, or to a specific registrant. *Premium Plan only |
Registration confirmation | Sent to event registrants and the event manager, regardless of payment status. |
DONATIONS FEATURE
Campaigns
Receiving a new donation | Sent when a donation is Completed. |
Issuance of a receipt | Sent when a tax receipt is created. |
Adding a pledge | Sent when a cheque donation pledge is added to the site, or if a pledge is added by the administrator. |
Donation cancellation | Sent when the donation is cancelled by the administrator. |
Reminder to donors awaiting payment - pledge of donation | Sent to the donor who has made a pledge, if he/she has not paid after a certain period. For example, you can send reminders after 30, 60 and 90 days following the Pledge. |
Campaigns - Recurring donations
Receiving a new donation | Sent when a donation is received (status Completed). |
Error with a recurring donation | Sent if there is an error during automatic payment of a recurring donation. |
Issuance of a receipt | Sent to transmit a tax receipt. |
Peer-to-peer campaign (P2P)
Registration of a new participant | Sent when a registration is confirmed for a new participant. |
Donation to a participant | Sent to the participant when a donation is received. |
Donators
Donator reminder | Sent automatically after the last donation. For example, you can contact donors who have not made a donation in the last 365 days to invite them to give again. |
