Creating segments for your newsletters

When you send a newsletter, you can decide which members or groups of members it is intended for. To do this, you can define segments, which are specific sets of contacts. You can create these segments from your groups defined in Yapla.

By going to Settings > Groups, you will find the list of all groups (Custom groups and system groups). These groups will be automatically synchronized in Yapla Newsletters as tags. From these tags, you can create sending segments.

How to create a segment in the Yapla newsletter from Yapla groups?

1. Go to Newsletters, then Contacts

2. Click on Create a segment

3. Name your segment, then select the contact list in which you want to create your segment.
4. Under conditions, select the "Tag" option in the first line, "Has" in the second line, then the desired group in the third line.
5. Save.

Deleting a Segment

Select the Contacts tab and select the contact list where your segment is located. Select All Contacts on the left to view your segment list. Click View All Segments. Click Delete to the right of the desired segment.

Is there a maximum number of segments we can create and/or select in our mailings?

There is no limit on the number of segments, you can create as many as you want.
