Why don't I have the right number of contacts in my filter?

You want to send a newsletter to specific users but the filter seems to be missing the right number of contacts?

There are several reasons for this.

Some contacts have unsubscribed from your newsletter campaign

Unsubscribing

It is indeed possible that you have contacts who have unsubscribed from a previous mailing. In this case, Yapla will automatically remove these contacts from your list. You can then find these contacts in the "contacts" application of Yapla or the "members" application, but they will no longer be in the list of contacts to which you can send a newsletter.

How to see the list of unsubscribed contacts?

You can check the list of unsubscribed contacts. To do this, open the "Newsletters" application of Yapla, click on Contacts and then check the box "Show unsubscribers" (see screenshot)

Some email addresses have been bounced

Why is a bounced email address deleted?

A bounce will limit the deliverability of your newsletter. So, each time a hard bounce (see article on bounces for more information) is detected, Yapla will delete the email address. This will allow you to clean your contact database. Indeed, the fewer bounces you have, the more likely your newsletter will be sent without any problem.

How to see the list of bounced email addresses?

As for unsubscribes, you have the possibility to check the list of bounced email addresses. To do so, open the "Newsletters" application of Yapla, click on Contacts and then check the box "Show bounces" (see screenshot).

If, after checking these two points you still don't have the right number of contacts, check the synchronization of your contact list
