The Yapla platform provides you with numerous automated communications. These emails and automatic reminders are triggered according to specific contexts.
These communications can be sent either in French or in English. The language depends on various factors. Please find below how this choice is made.
1 - Member's file
If the email address is present in your member list, Yapla will check the language specified in the member profile.
If the language field is not present in your membership form or if the language was not specified when importing your members, the default language will be French.
2 - Native field "language" of the application
If the email address is not present in your member list, the language of the communications will be the one indicated when filling the form of the current application (donations or events for example), if the native field "language" is present.
3 - Language of the site
If the email address is not present in your member list and the native field "language" is not present in the form of the concerned application, the language of the communication will be that of the site on which the visitor is.
In the case of a bilingual site, if the person is on the English version, the communication sent will be in English, if the person is on the French version, the communication sent will be in French.
In the case of a unilingual site, the communication will be sent in the language of the site, as configured in Web Site > Settings > Languages
