Add a link to share your calendar in your communications

Following the registration of a participant to one of your events, it is possible to set up an automated communication that will send all the information you want such as a thank you, the date and time of the event and the invoice. It is also possible to include a link that will add the event to which the person has just registered to his or her calendar.

Google Calendar

Google Calendar is the easiest way to share your calendar with attendees who register for your events.

Setting up your public calendar

The first step will be to create a public calendarfor your events to share. Once your calendar is created, you will need to add all of your organization's events to it.

Adding the share link to your communications

To get the link to share your events, go to the options of your event and click on "publish event".

Once you have the link of your event, just include it in your communication. After clicking on this link, the participant will be able to add the event to his calendar.

Outlook Calendar

It is also possible to do it for Outlook but this requires the use of a host external to Yapla since Outlook does not use a url link to share its events, but rather an ICS file which Yapla does not host.
