In the event of a privacy incident involving personal information : 1. taking reasonable steps to reduce the risk of harm to individuals and to prevent similar incidents in the future; 2. notifying the Commission and the person concerned if the incident presents a risk of serious harm; 3. keeping a register of incidents, a copy of which must be sent to the Commission at its request; 3. Complying with the new framework for disclosing personal information without the consent of the person concerned for the purposes of study, research or statistical production, and as part of a commercial transaction; 4. Conducting a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) before disclosing personal information without consent for study, research or statistical purposes; 5. Disclosing in advance to the Commission any verification or confirmation of identity made by means of biometric characteristics or measurements; 6. Destroying personal information once the purpose for which it was collected has been fulfilled, or make it anonymous in order to use it for serious and legitimate purposes, subject to the conditions and retention period stipulated by law; 7.
