[Donation management](https://support.yapla.com/en-ca/receive-donations?hsLang=en-ca#donation-management) # Manually add a donation through the back office The Yapla platform allows you to fully manage your organization's donations, including those made outside of your Yapla donation page or website. For example, when you receive a check or cash donation, or when someone wants to make a donation by phone, and you wish to include it in a campaign to issue a receipt if necessary. In this article, you will learn how to manually add a donation in Yapla by creating a new donor or adding it to an existing donor's profile. Enter the donation information (date, amount, receipt type) and continue. Then enter the donor information and contact information, and continue. 6. Verify payment summary and billing information. Depending on the configurations of this campaign, the donor may receive his donation receipt at the same time. ### Add a donation to an existing donor's profile 1. To add a donation made outside the platform by an existing donor, go to *Donations \> Donors* and select the donor in question. 2. Select the *Donations* tile. At the bottom of the page, click on *+ Add a donation,* then follow the necessary steps to complete the donation. You can update the donor's information if necessary.
