[Modules](https://support.yapla.com/en-ca/create-my-website?hsLang=en-ca#modules) # Featured articles ## Highlight a short selection of articles in columns **Available with the Essentials plan and higher.** The **Featured Articles** module displays a short selection of [articles](https://support.yapla.com/en-ca/create-articles-for-your-website?hsLang=en-ca) from one or more categories, presented in columns, with or without a link to their detail page. It is suited to highlighting a few pieces of content on a page, for example: - the last three news items on the home page, with a link to the page of all news; - the logos of your partners or sponsors, each logo being the image of an article; - the presentation of the members of your board of directors, one article per person. ### Add the module to a page In the configuration window of a zone, select the **Website** feature, then **Featured Articles** in the **Zone module** list. The **Title** and **Style** fields, at the top of the window, add a title above the module and set its level (Title 1 to Title 6). ### Configure the module #### Display options - **Title:** title of the section, displayed above the article previews. - **Number of articles:** maximum number of articles displayed. - **Number of columns:** 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 columns. - **Display order:** - **Creation Date:** from oldest to newest. - **Creation date descending:** from newest to oldest. - **Alphabetical** or **Alphabetical descending:** according to the title of the articles. #### Articles displayed - **Category of articles displayed:** select one or more categories, or all categories. Leave the field empty to not filter. - **Groups:** limits the display to articles associated with the selected groups. Choose **Display all articles**, **Display articles without archives** or **Only display archives**. Learn more in the article [Add an end of display date to an article](https://support.yapla.com/en-ca/add-an-end-of-display-date-to-an-article?hsLang=en-ca). #### Elements on list view Check the elements displayed in the preview of each article: **Title of the article**, **Creation date**, **Image**, **Introduction**, **Author**, **Category**, **Keywords** and **Group**. #### Elements on detail view Check the elements displayed when the visitor opens an article: **Title of the article**, **Creation date**, **Image**, **Introduction**, **Article**, **Author**, **Category**, **Keywords** and **Group**. Uncheck **Link details page** to display the previews without a link to the detail page, for example for a grid of logos. #### Call to action - **Details page:** page that displays the full content of an article when the visitor clicks its preview. Only pages that can display a detail page are offered, for example a page that contains a Multiple articles module or a Single article module used as a container. Click **Save and close** to display the articles on the page. **To display a full list** with filters, pagination or an accordion mode, use the [Multiple articles](https://support.yapla.com/en-ca/multiple-articles?hsLang=en-ca) module instead.
