# Add a video

On your website or in the details of your event, you can easily display a video hosted on another platform (YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Facebook, etc...).

To do this, you must retrieve the code of the latter, made available to you by the different platforms.

### Get the video sharing link

#### Youtube

Below the video, click on the Share link.

Choose the "Embed" option to get the video player code.

Retrieve the code that appears by clicking on copy.

#### Vimeo

To the right of the video, click on the Share icon (the plane).

Copy the code in the "Embed" section. If you want to change the size of the video, click on "Show Options".

#### Dailymotion

Under the video, click on the Share tab.

### Add video on Yapla

#### Description of your event

Go to your event and click on "Settings". Choose one of the description fields :

- "Basic Description" tab for the description
- "Advanced Description" tab for the Short Description or Additional Description.

In this box (HTML), click on Source (top left of the box) and then paste the code where you want the video to appear.

#### Page of your Yapla website

Go to the Website application and choose the page where you want to add the video and then select an empty area of the page in question.

Then select "Custom content" module. In the box (HTML), you click on Source (top left of the box) then you paste the code where you want the video to appear. (see screenshot above).

*Note*: You can also add the video to an article in the same way.

*Note*: The size of the player can be changed to the right of this code.
